It’s All in the Details: The Atrium Lobby of the Disney Magic
I thought it was time to visit another lobby, and planned to focus on the Dream with Admiral Donald. However, I’ve already shared the Disney Fantasy twice with the most recent decorated for Christmas. So, I felt it was about time to showcase one of the classic ships with the Disney Magic, who is celebrating her 15th birthday this year. Continue reading

Palo Champagne Brunch Leftovers
Today, we are celebrating my wife’s birthday with a champagne brunch at Remy, but that is not what this post is about. A few weeks ago, we shared our review of Palo Brunch on the Disney Fantasy, but there were way too many photos. So, I decided to leave those out of the review, and combine them with photos from previous brunch on the Disney Magic. We now proudly present… Palo Brunch leftovers! Continue reading
The Signs of Castaway Cay: Pelican Point – Pelican Point Overlook
If you have ever been to a Disney Park your are already well aware of the unique signage used to help guest navigate the property. Castaway Cay is no different. We had this image printed to a 20×30 print to hang on the wall in our bedroom. It is our way to wake up every morning… Continue reading
Disney Dream Deck 14 Outlook Lounge
Outlook Lounge on Deck 14 of the Disney Dream (pictured) and Disney Fantasy is a quite retreat, and often overlooked by most passengers.

King Tritons’s Little Girl
The atrium in each of the Disney Cruise Line ships feature a character statue. The Magic has Helmsman Mickey, the Fantasy has Mademoiselle Minnie Mouse, the Dream features Admiral Donald, and King Triton’s favorite daughter sits outside her father’s restaurant on the Disney Wonder.
Merry Christmas: Christmas At Castaway Cay

The first thing you see as the ship begins to back in (aside from the fake palm tree) is the Christmas tree surrounded by fake snow, Santa’s sled, and two snow people.
The tree is decorated in an island theme complete with shells and small life buoys.
Santa’s sleigh sits empty next to the towering evergreen tree.… Continue reading
