Crew Members Recently Volunteered at the Bahamas Albury Sayle Primary School

Disney Cruise Line VoluntEARS recently volunteered for the fourth consecutive year at Albury Sayle Primary School in The Bahamas during a stop in Nassau in late November. Crew Members, including Captain Mickey, Minnie and what appears to be Captain Thord spent time donating books and storytelling with students as part of the annual Reading Together program.

The Reading Together annual program in the Caribbean and the Bahamas launched 14 years ago in hopes of lessening the high level of literacy issues throughout the country.

The Walt Disney Company, through the Disney VoluntEARS program, provides opportunities for cast and crew members to volunteer their time and expertise to positively impact communities around the world. Each year, Disney Cruise Line cast and crew members donate thousands of hours of their personal time to benefit worthwhile causes in Brevard County and port communities around the world.

This is such a great program; and to see how involved the crew (and Captain!) are is inspiring. Way to go Disney!
