Personal Navigators: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral – May 20, 2017

Personal Navigators, and other handouts from the 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral. The Disney Fantasy set sail from Port Canaveral on May 20, 2017. There are additional Personal Navigators from other sailings of this same itinerary for comparison. During this cruise, the ship was under the control of Commodore Tom Foreberg.

This was the first 7-night sailing following the Disney Fantasy’s dry dock. The voyage was delayed leaving Port Canaveral on May 20th due to a mechanical issue on the previous 3-night cruise. As a result of the delayed embarkation, there was not a proper first day navigator provided to guests. This set of navigators does provide some details about the new experiences aboard, but will not serve as a planning tool for future 7-night Easterns due to the itinerary change dropping Tortola and adding San Juan.

Do you know what happened to change the itinerary? We were sailing on that cruise and still can’t understand the switch of St. Thomas days (which cancelled our excursion) and the stop in San Juan.

According to the earlier post on this site about the mechanical problems on the previous cruise, it was because of that. That sucks that they couldn’t still do the same excursion the other day!

Thanks for sharing! I noticed that the dinners (i.e. Formal night, captains night) were also out of order from what’s been on previous sailings… is this due to the last-minute itinerary change, or is it possible that Disney changed around the rotation permanently?

Thanks! Just panicking if I need to switch my Palo night! I’ll assume the old itineraries are the most accurate!
