Disney Magic and Disney Wonder Staterooms Converting to Concierge Level Category V

Disney Cruise Line will soon upgrade ten Category 4 Staterooms on deck 8 aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder to Concierge level Category V Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah. The changes are being made to complement existing suite accommodations on Disney Cruise Line and provide Clients with connecting concierge stateroom options. This also marks the addition of Category V to the classic ships which previously only had Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah (R), Concierge 2-Bedroom Suite with Verandah (S), and Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite with Verandah (T).

The furnishings and amenities will be upgraded by October 1, 2017 on the Disney Wonder and October 2, 2017, on the Disney Magic. Online Deck Plans are being updated to reflect these changes. The 10 staterooms affected by this change are: 8024, 8044, 8050, 8076, 8082, 8084, 8524, 8544, 8550, 8584.  We will update the website once these become available.

However, the stateroom explorer has been updated to reflect the category upgrade.

Guests with existing reservations in these staterooms may enjoy the upgraded stateroom amenities once onboard. However, in order to protect the concierge category, previously booked guests sailing at the category 4 rate are not eligible for pre-cruise or onboard concierge service, including access to the concierge lounge.

Special thanks to Tracy from TravelOnADream.com for alerting us to these upgrades.

We are one of the fortunate ones booked in mid-October for Disney Wonder. If I decide to splurge and upgrade to concierge amenities, do you have any idea how much that would be for a 7 night cruise? Thanks!
