A mini episode to say that we are still podcasting and that on our next episode we will discuss the Summer 2018 itineraries. We are also planning an epsidoe based on our recent Disney Wonder sailing. Since, the Wonder recently underwent a considerable transformation during dry dock, we’d like to give you, our listeners, an opportuntiy to ask any questions about the Wonder which we will incorporate into that future episode.

Hi Scott, ready to book 2018 trip on Magic for 2018 and would appreciate your thoughts. On the Magic would you go for a forward, mid or aft cabin? We always go on a 214 sq ft outside cabin but just not sure where on the ship? As the recognised super fan on everything Disney Cruise we would welcome your opinion? 🙂

David, at this point I am indifferent on the stateroom. I’d rather save the money and stay in an inside cabin. This is especially the case on itineraries that are port intensive and I only use the stateroom to sleep and get ready.

I usually go for the cheapest room (inside) since it’s just me and my husband. I haven’t been on the Magic but for the Wonder, I love getting a room in the back (aft) because it’s under the drink stations & the buffet. So it’s easy to just go up a few decks and you’re already at the buffet and drink station.

Scott, you mention preferring the classic ships over the newer ones. Why is that? I have only been on the Wonder and I loved it. Have been thinking about a second cruise in a few years and wondering which one to consider.

      Hi Rachelle,
Primarily the size of the ship and the overall number of passengers. The Classic ships were my introduction to cruising so I have fond memories from the classics. I believe I touched on my reasons back on episode 4.

Thank you. Episode 4 has convinced me I should sail on the Disney Magic next with all its interesting itineraries to choose from. And your daughter is very sweet as moderator of the episode. Thanks again.

I’m going on the Wonder in October. I don’t really like Cajun food. Is there anything on the menu at Tiana’s that isn’t too spicy?
