Disney Cruise Line Named Top Large-Ship Line in Condé Nast Traveler 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards

Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of their 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, ranking the best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, and cruise lines in the world. Over 300,000 dedicated readers – nearly twice as many as last year — cast votes for 7,394 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships, 236 islands, in an average survey time of 8.4 minutes.

Disney Cruise Line revived their 14th consecutive recognition in the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards earning the number one spot in the Large Ship Cruise category and second in the Medium Ship category.

Large Ship Cruise Lines Reader Ratings

  1. Disney Cruise Line (Dream & Fantasy)
  2. Cunard
  3. Princess
  4. Celebrity
  5. Norwegian Cruise Line

“These kinds of awards are among my favorite,” said Karl Holz, president of Disney Cruise Line. “The input is unfiltered and genuine, and comes directly from readers and our guests. It speaks volumes about our Cast and Crew Members who deliver the most amazing cruise vacations.”

The top midsize cruise line was Crystal Cruises and the small cruise line award went to Seabourn Cruise Line. Grand Circle Cruise Line earned the award for top river cruise line.
