Hello, we are going on this cruise next year and I’ve been going back and forth on early and late lunch. I have noticed that some of the ports like Skagway and Ketchikan have all aboard times of 7:45. Does that mean the typical cruise excursions end close to that and you would have a hard time making it back for early lunch (or the early show if we have late lunch)?

Brenton, I am not sure the specific port adventure times so it is hard to say. I know some port adventures will end after main dinner begins, but you’d be back by the late dinner seating. You can alway call DCL to inquire about possibly switching to late to take advantage of your ashore time. Please keep in mind I am speaking in general, not specifically the Alaskan ports. There are a lot of excursions that start early in the day and leave plenty of on your own time in the afternoon. It really varies by port and the excursion.
