We love late dining, but we do not have children, so it is a good fit for us. We’ve had table mates every cruise (6 so far), but we have never had a problem until April of this year on the Fantasy. We ate in Cabanas very often because the other couple at our table was pawing and petting each other through the entire meal service (and they were a middle-aged couple with grown children). Ewww! I mean, no one wants to watch that while trying to eat. We ran into our head server one afternoon and explained the situation to him. He immediately found us a table to ourselves. I really regret not going to him earlier in the cruise for this. I had been looking forward to trying several new menus that I missed out on because of this awkward situation. So, the point is…if you are unhappy, tell someone! A cast member will fix it for you!

We also love to pre-pay tips. Anything I can pay ahead of time, freeing up funds on my shipboard account for other awesome food/art/experiences is a major bonus to me!
Thanks for all your work with the podcast!

We are huge fans of late dining and have a child as well. She is now 11 but her first cruise was at 7. We eat late at home anyways, but I like how more relaxed it is and also that she has the option of play and dine. I have done first once with extended family and all the kids got antsy before the meal was over.

Loved the podcast. Was wondering how much extra you usually tip and how much do you tip at Remy/Palo?

great podcast. The audio was consistent all the way through. Keep it up.

we have always done main dining with young kids, we ask them to be served their entrees during our appetizers and then take them down to kids club. This lets the adults eat at a more relaxed pace just like what is done during late dining.
