Walt Disney World Port Adventures for 2016 Disney Magic Sailings from New York

Disney Cruise Line recently added a selection of port adventures for guests to choose when sailing to Port Canaveral (Walt Disney World) aboard the Disney Magic in 2016. The Disney Magic is scheduled to make 4 calls to Port Canaveral in the fall of 2016.

As part of these sailings, each passenger will receive a 1-day Walt Disney World Resort ticket with Park Hopper option which will be delivered to the stateroom the evening prior to the Disney Magic’s arrival in Port Canaveral. The ticket will include three FastPass+ selections that can be used at any attraction of their choosing. Guest do not need to make FastPass+ selections in advance.

Below are brief summaries of each port adventure with links for more information on each.

As of this publication a specific listing for a Disney’s Hollywood Studios is NOT on DCL’s website. If it becomes available I will let you know and update this posting. As it stands, the tickets are ParkHopper so if DHS is not added then I would suggest selecting the Epcot option then either taking a resort bus, take a Friendship boat or take the moderate walk over to DHS.

There is one additional Port Canaveral Port Adventure at this time. If more show up, I will do a separate post for the non-WDW options.

Dear ,
Your client’s cruise is quickly approaching and we are thrilled that they will be sailing with us.

As part of their sailing, a 1-day Walt Disney World® Resort ticket with Park Hopper® option is included and will be delivered to their stateroom the evening prior to our arrival in Port Canaveral. This ticket will include three FastPass+ selections that can be used at any attraction of their choosing. They do not need to make FastPass+ selections in advance. Your assistance in communicating this information to your clients is appreciated.

If your clients have not done so, please have them visit the Disney Cruise Line website to view all of the activities and services available to make the most of their sailing. They’ll be able to pre-reserve shipboard services, Palo – our adult dining option, and Port Adventures in the near future based upon their Castaway Club level.

  • First Time Guests 75 days prior to sail date
  • Silver Castaway 90 days prior to sail date
  • Gold Castaway 105 days prior to sail date
  • Platinum Castaway and Concierge Guests 120 days prior to sail date

If your clients choose to visit Walt Disney World at their leisure, complimentary bus transportation will be provided to and from the Port at select times beginning as early as 7:30 a.m. and returning from each park until just after park closing time. Travel to Walt Disney World will take approximately 90 minutes so be sure to advise your clients to plan their first activity no earlier than two hours from their bus departure time. Once Guests are within their pre-reserve booking window, they should sign up online for a departure time and Theme Park to start their day in the My Cruise Activities section of the online Planning Center.

Also, please keep in mind that many Disney table-service restaurants are quite popular and can book very quickly. Guests who would like to make dining reservations may do so up to 180 days in advance online at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/ or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Of course, there are also plenty of counter-service dining options to fit every taste throughout each of the four parks.

For additional information about the Walt Disney World Resort, please click here or contact your travel agent.

We look forward to welcoming your clients onboard in the near future!

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line

How will this work to make additional fastpass plus reservations once you have used the initial 3. Will guest be able to use the app or be stuck using the kiosks?
