For those interested in joining next year’s panel, application details will be posted on the website in the summer of 2016. I made it to round two so I do not see why any of you cannot make it to round 3.

wow, didn’t know that about Nancy Murphy, that’s cool. But Scott – do they ever give a reason as to why you did not make it to the next round? I consider myself a Disney Cruiseline Dad and have a ton of tips, booking insights, what to do, what not to do, etc.. however – I also use your site as a reference if I don’t know the answer so I was surprised to see that you did not make it? Additionally, for those that did make it – do they speak to their experience with DCL or WDW? Just curious. Thanks so much for your site!!!!

David, I am sure my 11th hour round 2 application did not help my cause. Additionally, I have a feeling once someone connects the dots my application would quickly be rejected. Quite honestly, I do not feel I’d be a good fit for the panel. I could not be 100% pro Disney/DCL. I prefer to call it as I see it and I do not feel this is encouraged in that program.

Glad to have you “real” and independent!! Yes, we love everything Disney but we find the mom’s panel a little contrived and artificial. We prefer creative advertising that does not pretend to be unbiased, like the magic band musical advert that we cannot stop watching! They should do one in this genre with DCL.
