I’ve been tempted but never booked one of these cruises at the ‘last minute.’ But I hesitate for two reasons… I prefer (but not require) two connecting rooms for my family of 4 and we really must have the main dining timeslot. Do you have any idea how easy it is to get either of these things if you book one of these special fares? Thanks and really love this blog!

      Angela,
I do not have experience booking last minute with a connecting room request, but I can speak to the dinning times. If main dinning is not available when you book then request to be wait listed for main. There is still a chance to change once onboard the ship. However, there are no guarantees that your family will be able to switch to main dinning, as it comes down to availability.
Thank you for the kind words.
