Early last month, Steve Miller announced on the Disney Parks Blog that an all new Disney Cruise Line Dooney & Bourke pattern, pictured below, would launch this summer during the Disney Fantasy’s July 12th 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise. The new design will be featured on various Dooney & Bourke handbag styles including classic favorites like totes or Crossbody bags.
In addition to the merchandise release, Dooney & Bourke’s director of new product development, Ian Ray will be onboard to host a special presentation highlighting the history and the future of Dooney & Bourke at Disney Parks. Ian is scheduled to meet with guests in White Caps (Deck 3, Forward) each evening. There will be purchasing limits in effect.
To cap off the special event, there will be a silent auction featuring a selection of Dooney & Bourke items, including framed patterns and more.
The July 12th sailing of the Disney Fantasy will embark from Port Canaveral on a seven-night sailing to the Eastern Caribbean with stops in St Maarten, St Thomas/St John, and Disney’s Castaway Cay. This itinerary features three days at sea which will offer guests an opportunity to take advantage of the special onboard events. It is not too late to book this sailing as of this morning there were still oceanview and verandah staterooms available. If you are a Florida resident, or a member of the US Military there are special rates available that will significantly reduce the price of this sailing.

Does anyone know if the new, or the previous print for that matter, Dooney & Bourke purses will be available on the Disney Dream at any point? We are planning to sail in November 2015 on the Dream and I would love to plan to get one of the Barrel Satchel’s.
I was just on the Dream for the DVC Member cruise. They did have some of the old patter with all the ships names on it. I’m sorry but I don’t track the special names they assign the purses…I just but them. LOL. They also had this pattern. I love my new tote. I don’t know what I will buy on my November cruise now that I have the newest DB addition. LOL.
Just finished a 7 night voyage on the Magic. There was VERY limited stock in the new pattern. The bag I saw & decided was gone when I went to buy it (day 2 of the cruise)! So if you see it, and like it, BUY IT! Don’t wait and be bummed cause you missed it (like I am!(
