Personal Navigators: Disney Wonder 3-Night Bahamian Cruise June 16-18, 2005

Personal Navigators and other handouts from the Disney Wonder]s 3-Night Bahamian Cruise  – June 16-18, 2005. Yes, 2005. Emily was digging through a box, and discovered a folder with all our land-sea-land Disney Wedding & Honeymoon information. The folder included our Personal Navigators, which we thought were long gone.

Originally, I was not planning to post these considering they would not be useful for planning an upcoming cruise, but a few people indicated an interest when I mentioned the find on Twitter. I will admit, I enjoyed looking back and seeing some of the unique onboard offerings such as the Bridge tour and Hercules the Muse-ical.

This cruise sailed the same 3-night Bahamian itinerary as the Disney Dream does in 2014.

Being our first cruise we had no idea what to expect, and we barely scratched the surface at what Disney had to offer. Our first dinner with Disney Cruise Line was in Palo (which was just $10 at the time) so we missed meeting our serving team and table mates in Parrot Cay the first night. The second night in Tritons we were surprised with a congratulatory dessert.

Followed by a romantic turndown service by our stateroom host.

If you are unsure if cruising is the right way to spend your vacation time a 3-night cruise is a great way to test the waters. The one downside to a short cruise is that 3-nights can feel more like 3 hours, and be over before you know it.

Let us know in the comments if you enjoyed looking at old Personal Navigators. I know we have some more filed away from some 5-Night double dip sailings on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder and maybe a 7-night Western.

If you have any navigators you would be willing to share, please send me an email. If you would rather upload the files you can use our upload form.

Sailing on the Magic and Wonder since the early 2000s this was a wonderful, delightful walk down memory lane. My favorite, the iconic map of Castaway Cay. I’m glad your wife found that box.

We did a 7-Night cruise on the Magic (January 29 – February 4, 2005) for our honeymoon. After getting used to the motion the first night, it was the best vacation we’d ever been on to that point (which is why we keep choosing Disney Cruise Line). We’re going again this year (for Christmas this time) and to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday and our 10th Anniversary. Anybody out there have any good (sneaky) ideas on how to celebrate an anniversary and/or do a vow renewal (and know how much, if anything, any of these ideas might cost)? I’d REALLY love to do this up right…

Jerry, you can do a vow renewal on any of the ships, prices start at $3000, go to http://www.disneyweddings.com for more information. My wife and I were going to do a vow renewal on the Fantasy in June, but decided to go on the Wonder double dip this October instead. It was only $2600 for a verandah for us and the 2 kids. The vow renewals look pretty cool though, congrats and enjoy your Christmas trip

I sailed on this same cruise on the Wonder as a 6 year old in May 2007 with my Mom, Dad, and younger sister. I’ll check but I doubt we still have them. I hope there are more old personal navigators out there, preferably from the Magic! (love the classic ship haha)

Hi Gabriel, I do have some older navigators that I’ve been meaning to publish. Just hard to get them posted when I have so many current sailings to share.

Take all the time you need! It is amazing to see how much difference 13 years makes in those Navigators!

These old navigators are cool to look at! I hope there’s more on the way!

My family (and I) sailed on this same cruise on the Wonder in May 24, 2007. I was six years old, but I do remember my parents left me in the Oceaneers Lab while they watched the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. I also remember the big mickey pool in the kid’s zone.

Also, I did run away from my parents during that cruise (I have no clue what I was thinking; they did find me after 30 minutes), but that sailing does give me some nice memories to look back on and smile about as a young adult now.
