As a result of the lingering remnants of Tropical Storm Dorian, Disney Cruise Line modified this week’s Eastern Caribbean itinerary aboard the Disney Fantasy. The itinerary was first modified by calling on Castaway Cay on Sunday and St Maarten was swapped out with San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesday. St Thomas remains on the itinerary for Wednesday followed by two days at sea.
Night | Date | Port | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 7/27 | Sat | Port Canaveral, FL |
2 | 7/28 | Sun | Disney’s Castaway Cay |
3 | 7/29 | Mon | At Sea |
4 | 7/30 | Tue | San Juan, Puerto Rico |
5 | 7/31 | Wed | St. Thomas (w. St. John excursions) |
6 | 8/1 | Thu | At Sea |
7 | 8/2 | Fri | At Sea |
Personally, I would love to be able to book this itinerary with San Juan instead of St Maarten with Castaway Cay as the first port of call and ending with two days at sea. In fact, I wish all cruises ended with a relaxing day at sea, not rushing to pack and an easier wake call once back in port.
Will you please give us some details about future itineraries? I am really excited to see the 2015 cruises!
I agree! Would much prefer a day at sea to end off the cruise than the rush back to pack.
It looks like DCL learned from their mistakes with Sandy last October – I feel much more confident in giving them another chance this year! Thumbs up!
I would love this flip flop! However, I would want to dump St Thomas and keep St Maarten
I do like St Maarten, but I gotta have St Thomas; it gets me to St John!!! St John is my absolute favorite port. Paradise 🙂 Hope to spend a week there next summer!!!
Haha I just prefer not going to just the Bahamas and then 2 US ports… Need more foreign culture. I like St. John a lot but the ferry can be rough. St Thomas… The only thing good about it is the extra liquor allowance!
A day at sea at the end of the trips would be awesome. It would make the packing so much easier.
