The Magic Arrives in Galveston Texas for the First Time

The Disney Magic just arrived in Galveston, Texas for the first time.  The Magic will sail from Galveston for the next 8 months before heading to Europe next summer.  Later today, the Magic will embark on her Inaugural Galveston 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise to Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

To commemorate the arrival of the Magic in Galveston the Port is hosting a Sail-A-Bration.  From 7 AM to 11 AM, the public is welcome to get a close dockside view of the Magic, then in afternoon official events will kick off before the Magic sets sail on her first 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Galveston!

Beginning in 2013, the Magic will mix up the itineraries with 4, 6, and 8-Night Western Caribbean Cruises along with 8-Night Bahamian Cruises which stop at Port Canaveral for a day at Walt Disney World, and  Disney’s Castaway Cay.
