Tropical Storm Leslie is not likely to become a threat to any upcoming Disney cruises, but since she is within range of the Eastern Caribbean I decided it was worth a mention.

Leslie is moving toward the west-northwest towards Bermuda at 18 mph with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. A northwestward path is expected over the weekend. Tropical storm force winds are extending outward up to 90 miles.

Some stretching is expected over the weekend, but the center of the storm looks to pass well north of the Leeward Islands as she stays out in the Atlantic.

Hurricane Kirk

Kirk is not, and will not be a threat as he is is well out in the Atlantic heading to the northeast at 20 mph with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph.

Looking Forward

It now looks like there is an increased probability of a tropical cyclone development off the coast of Africa.
