Following last week’s video promoting the Pixar Cruises, John Lasseter returns with his wife, Nancy, to promote an exclusive VIP Port Adventure to his family’s winery in Sonoma Valley, California. The winery is not open to the public, but according the the Lasseter Family Winery website, 45-minute wine tastings are available to the general public by appointment only for $25 per person.

The adventure will begin with a brief history of Sonoma Valley during the 75 minute drive from the San Francisco pier. After arriving at the winery, which is located on a beautiful 95-acre ranch, Nancy Lasseter will lead a tour into the vineyards to sample the various grapes straight from the vines. Julia Iantosca, a celebrated winemaker, will join guests and give her unique insight into the winemaking process. Depending on the day of your visit, you may even get to experience the crushing of the grapes.

Following the tour, there will be a wine tasting with food prepared by a renowned local gourmet chef, Sondra Bernstein. Each food item is designed to pair perfectly with each Lasseter Family Wine. After the tasting, guests will have some leisure time at the beautiful Lake Serendipity, a rarely-seen jewel of the estate.

To top off this amazing Port Adventure, guests will receive a souvenir bottle of Lasseter Family Wine signed by Nancy & John Lasseter, and Julia Iantosca.

This 6 hour Port Adventure is $475 per person. On the surface, this seems quite extreme considering the $25 per person rate for the tastings. However, this Port Adventure is so much more than just a wine tasting! Seriously, where else could you get a behind-the-scenes VIP tour into the heart of the winery by co-owner, Nancy Lasseter?? Oh yeah – there is also the autographed bottle of wine!
